Kate Guelke assistant directed Joan Rechi at Aachen Opera with associate director Tamara Heimbrock. Kate Guelke was awarded a €1000 Travel and Training Bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland to undertake her residency at Aachen Opera, overseen by Michael Schmitz-Aufterbeck.
